Diving the Zenobia wreck off Larnaca
A 172-metre ferry on her side in Larnaca Bay: depths, certification and how a dive day works.
Cyprus
Didventure is made in Cyprus, and a small island is the right place to start: close enough to know the spots, varied enough to have something for every kind of adventure.

On one island you have the sea and the Troodos mountains, whose highest peak, Chionistra (Mount Olympus), is 1,952 m. Off Larnaca the sea runs from about 15 °C in winter to about 28 °C in summer; in winter the top of Troodos becomes a ski centre. That means diving and snorkelling, sailing and water sports, kitesurfing and windsurfing, paragliding, cycling, running and hiking, and skiing when the snow comes.
Wreck and reef diving (the Zenobia wreck off Larnaca is one of the best known), snorkelling and freediving.
Sailing, kitesurfing, windsurfing and other water sports along the coast.
Paragliding and other air sports, from sightseeing flights to flight training.
Hiking and running on the nature trails of Troodos, Akamas and beyond, cycling, and skiing on Troodos in winter.
Always go with a licensed operator where one is needed, check the weather and the sea, and keep a respectful distance from wildlife. Some places close for a while: on 14 October 2026, for example, visitcyprus.com lists the Avakas Gorge trail as temporarily closed (status in our Akamas guide). Check before you set out.
Adventure activities carry inherent risk. A listing here is not a safety guarantee: check the operator's current verification and your own fitness before you go.
In an emergency, call 112.
Explore starts with spots in Cyprus. It is still early and spots are being added: if a spot you know isn't there, add a New spot and log the first adventure. Public places only.
Whatever you log, you choose who sees it: Everyone, Followers or Only me. Others see your location no closer than about 1 km.
Hand-written, dated and sourced from official information.
